the insider's playbook to PROJECT

Whether it's your first time at PROJECT in Las Vegas or you've been attending for years, we have compiled an important list of tips and tricks to make the most of your event experience.

first things first...

register to attend

Avoid lines on-site and register yourself — and your team — before arriving in Las Vegas. Plus, when you register early, you'll be the first to receive all necessary event information.

benefit from the best discounts

Enjoy exclusive deals available to our exhibitors and attendees — when you book hotel rooms and travel directly with PROJECT in Las Vegas.

set your budget

Strategize your purchasing plan by setting a budget and identifying inventory/technology gaps. Pro Tip: If you’re looking for something specific like brands who offer low minimums, review the brand list on the event planner/mobile app to identify the right vendors for you to visit.

make a plan

Once you've set your budget, set discovery goals. Start by reviewing the brand list available on the digital event planner mobile app and follow PROJECT on social media. See a brand you love? Be sure to save them in your app, so you can easily reference back to this list on-site. Pro Tip: It's important to meet with your regular accounts, but you should always plan to visit at least 10 new vendors diversify your inventory that you know your customers will love.

while you're on-site

enjoy printed badges

You asked, we listened. We've brought back printed badges due to popular demand at our events to allow for a more seamless and efficient process on-site while still upholding our commitment to sustainability.

arrive early (& plan to shop more than one day)

To make the most out of the event, we recommend arriving at 9AM when the doors open. If you’re pre-registered — which we strongly encourage — your on-site experience will be quick and efficient so you can get through the doors and have time to start shopping.

shop like a pro

Walk every aisle to ensure you don’t miss any hidden gems that will make your offerings stand out next season. Write orders while you’re on-site to avoid missing out on merchandise while it’s available and, with the vendor's permission, take photos of what you buy (or are planning to buy) so you can easily share with your staff post-event. Pro Tip: Remember to look back at your "favorites" that you saved on the digital event planner mobile app.

introduce yourself

Don’t be shy. If you see a busy booth, say a quick hello, and ask what time you should come back for an appointment. The third day typically has some quieter times that you can – and definitely should – take advantage of.

enjoy the full PROJECT experience

Go to the numerous happy hours, networking sessions, activations, and education panels on the show floor. Attending these events will connect you with your industry peers, potential business partners, and so much more.

take advantage of our offerings

Your registration includes access to co-located events MAGIC, SOURCING, and OFFPRICE. Keep the momentum going across the entirety of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

post-event to-do list

follow-up with potential partners

Continue the conversation and follow up with any new connections you made at the event.

review order details

Make sure your delivery dates and details are correct and follow up to confirm order details like shipping and timing with your vendors.

place additional orders as needed

Didn't seal the deal on-site? Reach out to those vendors and place your orders as soon as possible after the event closes.

start planning for next season

Register for the next PROJECT event to stay ahead of the curve. Don't miss out to join this incredible community all year round.
